Supporting Human Rights
The United Nation’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights states it best: “Everyone has the right to own property alone as well as in association with others.”
The UN Habitat’s focus is supporting urban development and the planning and building of a better urban future for next generations. Doing so would help mitigate the psychological impact of displacement.
With that in mind, along with our mission, creating adequate shelter is one of IGDC Solutions’ key goals. Development of the World Eco-Relief Home, will provide those in need with adequate shelter, clean water and sustainable energy.
By educating locals on how to build these homes themselves, communities will benefit from entrepreneurial job creation and, in some cases, by sharing symbiotic energy generation.
Building World Eco-Relief Homes will support infrastructure and urban renewal in developing nations.
The home will also lessen stress and improve the quality of life and mental well-being for those who currently live without secure sources of shelter and electricity.
Public and private sector corporations and local, state and national governments can partner to financially support the construction and placement of these homes to meet their social responsibility and global development initiatives.
